Eid is the word that comes from the Arabic language as we know that it is one of oldest language and many people say that it is a mother of all languages in Urdu languages there are many words are taken from Arabic as well as Eid shayari in Urdu. The pure means of Eid is the only joy but we can also say that EId meaning celebration and happiness. It is purely a religious festival for Muslims. Muslims celebrate it after blessing month of Ramadan.
There are two Eids in the whole year. One of them is Eid-ul-Fiter (as it called Choti eid and methi eid) and other is Eid-ul-Azha(as known Bakra Eid). Eid -ul-Fiter is celebrated when the holy Ramadan ???the month of fasting is over and the last night of this holy month it is called Chand Raat. if you want bewafa shayari in English language then click on Eid shayari in Urdu.
While eid-ul-azha is celebrated at the 10th of Zill Haj after the biggest and sacred holy obligation the Hajj on the day of eid ul fitr people say their eid namaaz in their mosques and meet each of them and they also have some different plains for joy many of them go to them go to graveyrd also say prayer of their beloveds grave and some of them go to their relatives to visit them and wishing them this religious festival and there is also a terdition on the day of Eid-ull-Fiter that the supervisor of the family give the money to all the children as we call it eidi. In this day Muslim people like to eat the sweets as a Sunnah of our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH).
